Gin Market Budapest launched in 2022 with the goal of bringing a fresh approach to showcasing premium spirits. The festival blends the classic event format with the vibe of a modern market: visitors can explore the finest local and international gin brands from stand to stand, all while enjoying a relaxed, urban atmosphere.
Within just a few years, the event has become one of Hungary’s leading gin- and rum-focused festivals, and in 2026 it reaches a new milestone: the first Tequila Fest will take place within the Gin Market, expanding the festival into three spirit categories. Visitors can look forward to premium tastings, free masterclasses, diverse gastronomic offerings, live music performances, and cultural activities.
In 2026, Gin Market returns at a new downtown location, Városháza Park — with a larger area, more exhibitors, and the most diverse program lineup to date. Our mission remains unchanged: to create an experience where quality spirits, gastronomy, and community come together naturally, offering every visitor an inspiring and memorable summer weekend.

At Gin Market, we are moving away from disposable cups and toward eco-friendly alternatives in order to minimize waste.
Gin Market Budapest’s smart ReCup is reusable and washable, which can reduce waste generated at the event by up to 80%, thereby lowering the environmental impact.
